Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our home care services. Can't find an answer? Get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

We offer a comprehensive range of home-based care services including personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), medication reminders, meal preparation, mobility assistance, companionship, post-operative recovery support, palliative care, and respite care for family caregivers. All services are delivered in the comfort of the client's own home by trained, vetted caregivers.
Getting started is simple. Contact us by phone or email to schedule a free initial consultation. During this visit, our care coordinator will assess your loved one's needs, discuss your preferences, and work with you to create a personalised care plan. We will then match you with a suitable caregiver and arrange a start date that works for your family.
Yes. Every caregiver at Serene Path Care undergoes a thorough screening process that includes identity verification, reference checks, and a background check before they are placed with any client. All caregivers hold relevant qualifications in nursing, community health, or a related field, and receive ongoing training to ensure they meet our standards of care.
We carefully match caregivers to clients based on specific care needs, personality, language preferences, and schedule requirements. You are always involved in this process. If at any point the match does not feel right, we will work with you to find a better fit — your comfort and confidence in your caregiver is our priority.
Yes. We offer flexible care arrangements including part-time visits, full-time daily care, overnight care, and live-in support. We understand that care needs do not follow a 9-to-5 schedule, so we work with your family to design a timetable that provides coverage whenever needed — including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Your care plan is created collaboratively during the initial consultation, taking into account your loved one's medical history, daily routines, personal preferences, and family input. Care plans are reviewed regularly and can be updated at any time as needs change. We believe in flexible, person-centred care — your plan should grow and adapt alongside your loved one's situation.
We currently serve clients across Nairobi and the surrounding areas. If you are unsure whether we cover your location, please get in touch — we will do our best to accommodate you or point you toward the right resource. We are actively expanding our coverage as our team grows.
Client safety is our first priority. In the event of a caregiver absence, we notify you as quickly as possible and arrange a qualified substitute to cover the visit. For medical emergencies during a care session, our caregivers follow emergency protocols, contact emergency services when required, and immediately inform the designated family contact. You will never be left without support.
